Mark Carter

Mark started his career with KPMG in the Auditing team, however he quickly transitioned to the Advisory team where there was a wider and more interesting remit - from advising regulators on Sharia finance, to restructuring distressed companies with administrators, and developing strategies to reduce automobile usage.

Since leaving KPMG, Mark has continued to follow his passions and interests at a boutique advisory firm. He has led research and due diligence programs for long distance sub-sea cabling, offshore wind development, autonomous vehicles and a set of breakthrough decarbonisation technologies.

Mark brings extensive investment research, due diligence and financing experience to MarineFifty, along with a keen interest in transport and a passion for the energy transition and the net-zero challenge.

As Senior Analyst, Mark utilises his considerable experience to support the team by researching industry trends, identifying potential investments and developing deal strategies.
