Mikael Laurin

Mikael is a leader with 20+ years of global leadership experience in executive positions across the maritime, industrial and technology sectors. He has a proven track record of piloting organizations through rapid expansion, complex transformations and market downturns. He has extensive expertise in strategy, business development, and operational management.

Before joining MarineFifty, Mikael worked with green technology for the marine industry in executive positions at Manta Marine, Yara Marine and Lean Marine. Prior to that he was CEO for Laurin Maritime, a global tanker operator, which he led for 14 years, expanding their business and promoting their sustainability agenda.

He has board-level experience at listed, private and family-owned companies, as well as industry associations. Mikael holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management and began his career in management consulting.
